About the English Way:
Historically, the English Way (or Camino Inglés in Spanish) was the Camino de Santiago that was typically followed by British and Irish pilgrims from the city of Ferrol to Santiago. Currently, the English Way has two starting points: A Coruña and Ferrol. It is important to keep in mind that we will only obtain the “Compostela” pilgrimage certificate if we start the English Way in Ferrol.
During the first 2 days of hiking on the English Way we will get to enjoy beautiful views of the Galician coast, and we can also visit quaint villages along the route such as Pontedeume or Betanzos. The second part of the English Way crosses through the rural area of Galicia, where we will be able to enjoy its characteristic green landscapes.
