Arrival in La Valle

To get to La Valle we offer you two recommendations, either to get to Innsbruck or to Verona, from where we can take a bus or a train, as appropriate, to Brunico. Once there, a taxi transfer will be the best way to get to La Valle.

When you are at your accommodation, we recommend taking some time to start touring its surroundings, and enjoy the immensity of the Dolomites around you.

Circular route up to Crusc de Rit

On your first day of walking, you will enjoy from the beginning, the beauty of the views offered by the Crusc de Rit mountain peak, in the South Tyrol region, from where you will have Val Badia at your disposal to enjoy and to photograph.

You will advance through immense forests and, on your path, discover multiple rocky walls that surround you. In the end, you'll have a descent to return to La Valle.

Circular route from Pederoa to Spizan

To start your day today you must take a bus towards your starting point, Pederoa. You will start with a low-difficulty ascent that, in turn, will offer you all the beauty of Mount Putia and the village of Lungiarü, renowned for its natural luge track in winter.

When you start your descent, you'll enjoy the views of Val Badia's largest river, the Gran Ega, which will guide you from Spizan, the highest point where you'll be today, to Pederoa. From there, you'll need to take a bus back to your hotel.

Hike from Passo Valparola to Corvara

Today you will have a transfer included that will pick you up from the hotel to take you to Passo Valparola, the beginning of your walk. From there, you'll start advancing along a flat route with lovely panoramic views along the Settsass, Lake Valparola to Pralongia.

As a curious fact, we tell you that as you go, you will find old facilities used during the war by the Austro-Hungarian army. You will enjoy visits to the Marmolada Glacier, the highest mountain in the Dolomites.

Length: 14 km. | 570 m. of ascent; 1180 m. of descent

From La Valle to Fanes

On this day you will have as a final point a mountain refuge in the Fanes-Senes-Braines National Park where you will spend the night, for which you will have to be prepared with a small backpack with what you need.

You will start with a gradual ascent and then descend on stone trails that will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the views over the Austrian peaks and the crest of Pares. Finally, you will have one last climb that will finally place you at the ideal peak to enjoy the views towards the Park.

If you are encouraged and not very tired, enjoy the beauty of the Le Vert and Limo Lakes, very close to the refuge where you will spend the night.

From Fanes to La Valle

Your route today is quite steep and will allow you to enjoy at all times the views over the alpine Lake Parom and an exceptional walk through the forest. On your path, you will find rock walls that will impress you, while around you you have the peaks of the Dolomites very closeby.

Walking through the majestic lands of Fanes, if you want to reduce the ascent, we suggest you descend Val de Medesc along a narrow channel that will take you to La Crusc, in Alta Badia. Finally, you will cross the meadows of Armentera until you reach Val Badia again.

Length: 18 km. | 790 m. of ascent; 1510 m. of descent

Circular route from Lungiarü to Rifugio Genova

For your last day of walking you must first take a bus to Lungiarü. From there, you'll start climbing on to Mount Putia, a lonely mountain at the northern end of the Dolomites.

You will continue walking until you pass through wide meadows that will offer you unforgettable panoramas over the Puez-Odle National Park, a natural area that encompasses two groups of mountain ranges of the Dolomites. Your destination will be Rifugio Genova, from where you must take a bus back to La Valle.
