Today you start your hiking trail in La Tramontana when an inclusive transfer takes you from Palma Airport to the village of Esporles, from where tomorrow you will start walking.
Once there, the visit to La Granja d'Esporles is a must. You will have the opportunity to discover this great mansion from the Roman era, in addition to enjoying its gardens and unparalleled landscapes.
Overnight: Esporles
When you leave Esporles you will walk along a rural path from where you must take an ascent towards Coll de Sa Basseta. You'll see the sea and get to know something about the rural industry of yesteryear.
The walk is unmatched by any other hiking route thanks to the numerous panoramic views that are presented in front of you as you walk: coal burning settlements, old lime kilns and old forest dwellings.

Overnight: Valldemossa
Today you will have a route with a steep climb that goes from Valldemossa, along old mule tracks. Afterwards, you'll start your descent to Deia, your destination for today, while enjoying the views of the northwest of the island.
The colour of the façades in Deia, all of them light brown, almost honey colour, has been the cradle of inspiration for multiple artists during the 19th century. In fact, in addition to being recognized as one of the most charming villages in Mallorca, it is also known as a very bohemian municipality.

On your route today you will walk through large olive groves until you reach the old telegraph station of Muleta, on the highest tip of the Cap Gros cliffs.
In Port de Soller, meanwhile, the immense bay and its sandy beach will allow you to enjoy the good atmosphere and, if you want, a good glass of wine in front of the sea, after having enjoyed your day. Finally, you can head by tram to Soller.

Today you will be taken on a short transfer to the Cuber Reservoir. Once there, you will have to walk to L'Ofre, with incredible views of Puig Major.
Then, you will continue to the Barranco de Biniaraix trail, where the dry stone trails perfectly highlight the way they have blended with the natural environment. At the end of your walk, you will reach valleys of orange trees that stand out on the way to Soller.

Today you will be taken to Cuber and you will have to go through the Massanella Massif while enjoying the views of its beautiful mountains and get to know traditional rural life. This day is somewhat difficult, which you will see rewarded throughout your journey for its beauty and its stunning landscapes.

Overnight: Lluc
This last stage of your hiking trail will allow you to rest a little after some arduous days and will take you along stony and shaded paths from where you can perfectly see the famous Puig Tomir mountain.
You will pass through the Chapel of S'Ermita, formerly the home of hermits. You can also see as you walk the Binifaldo estate, once owned by the Knights Templar.
When you arrive in Pollenca, whose culture is traditionally in making coffee and its infrastructure stands out for its charming squares, you can enjoy your last afternoon in La Tramontana with Santiago Ways.

Today your hiking route in La Tramontana with Santiago Ways finishes.* You will take your inclusive transfer back to Palma from where you can take your flight back to your home city.

To be able to enjoy your Walking Holiday in the Sierra de Tramuntana, you must reach Palma Airport. From there, you have an included transfer that will take you to your accommodation in Esporles.
When you finish your trip in Pollenca, you will also have a transfer included that will take you back to Palma airport so that you can catch your flight home.
It is not possible to travel alone on this route due to the terrain found in the area. However, if you want to sleep in a single room, we can arrange it for you.

You will receive it by email one month before starting the trip along with all the documentation of the trip: accommodation reservations, luggage transfers, among others.
The kilometres of travel and the journey times indicated for our hiking trips are reference values.
It will depend on each walker the fulfilment of these times and distances, according to the speed at which they advance.
Both sedentary people and those who regularly exercise should physically prepare for any of our hiking trails.
Sedentary people can start with moderate activity and continue progressively. They should start by taking small 20-minute walks, two or three times a week. It is suggested to increase the time until you reach walk about 4 or 5 kilometres every hour.
People with regular physical activity can start by walking from 45 to 60 minutes a day and increase the amount of time and kilometres they travel in the same span of time.
Generally, it is recommended to start training about three months before starting the route.
There is no minimum number of days in advance to book, although on certain dates the occupancy of the accommodation is higher, especially in high season.
Therefore, in order to guarantee availability in the best accommodation, we suggest you book as much in advance as possible, so that we can meet all your needs.
For any of our routes we suggest you to bring the following items: light and fast drying clothing, waterproof jacket and trousers, sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a pair of shoes suitable for hiking, trekking poles, a pair of shoes to rest in, a jacket that doesn't take up much space and a bottle to carry water.
Depending on the time of year in which you make the route, these items may vary.
Remember that with Santiago Ways, you have included a baggage transfer service between stages, so we will take your backpack from one accommodation to another so that you only worry about walking (maximum 1 piece of 20 kg per person).
For this reason, we suggest you prepare a second backpack, much smaller, that you can carry with you every day with water, sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, documents, some food and cash.
Every day, at 8:00 am, you must bring your luggage, properly labelled, to the reception. One of our carriers will pick it up and take it to the place where you are going to stay on your next stage.
Delivery time varies according to the distance between stages and the carrier's delivery route. Usually, delivery is made before 4 p.m.
Please note that on many routes you sleep more than one night in the same accommodation, so the baggage transfer will not be necessary in these cases.
